The Video Association of Dallas begins its third decade with a new twist.  “After twenty years we decided to shake things up a bit,” says founder and Artistic Director Bart Weiss.

This year VAD will present two separate series. The first series, called THE PROGRAM, will showcase video art and other media-based art. The FREE exhibitions begin on July 26 and continue for five consecutive Saturday evenings (times vary) at Conduit Gallery, 1626 Hi Line Drive, in the Design District.

“THE PROGRAM" will include area premieres for many artists well known on the international circuit,” says curator Charles Dee Mitchell.

In addition to the exhibitions at Conduit Gallery, THE PROGRAM will offer free screenings at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and on, the Dallas Museum of Art
